Ronnie James Dio, born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on July 10, 1942, was famous for his work as a vocalist and songwriter for such popular bands as Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell and his own band named after himself Dio.

Dio’s musical experience began as a child, when he learned to play the trumpet and French horn. He further nurtured his musical talent and ability in high school when he joined a rock band named Vegas Kings with whom he played the bass guitar. On March 12th, a specially selected group of fans referred to as “The Circle” were invited to a private preview session of Manowar’s upcoming release of their new album. “The Circle” represents the band’s fan club. “The Circle” was extremely excited when they received a guided tour through Wisseloord studios in the Netherlands, where the album is expected to be mastered and mixed. Along with fellow rockers Metallica, Anthrax and Slayer, Megadeth has been deemed one of the “Big Four of Thrash”.
