No Comparison – Rock on Television and Rock Concerts

When you’re talking about watching a rock concert on television versus a rock concert in person, there really is no comparison. The live experience is far superior to any filmed concert tour you can find through http://www.cable-tv.com/DIRECTV-Cable/.

For one thing, the sound is so much better and that goes double for if you’re listening at a stadium or some kind of arena. The sound and the acoustics bounce all over the place creating a sensation that few home entertainment systems can even hope to accurately emulate.

It’s also more personal. Sure, there might be thousands of other people at the concert standing there with you. But when you watch a concert live, you are that artist’s audience for the evening – you are their guest and even if they don’t ever address you directly, there is something significantly more intimate about seeing a live concert in person than viewing a broadcast miles away.

Not to mention the fact that you never know what might happen at these concerts. Maybe a special dedication will be made, or maybe a rowdy audience member will storm the stage. Where do you want to tell people you were when that happened? Obviously, you want to be able to tell them you were there!
