Paul is one of the Rocks longest serving jocks, presenting, programming
and producing his hugely successful weekly metal show The Axe Attack
on the Rock since 1992.
He has interviewed Slayer, Metallica, Fear Factory, Sepultura, Megadeth,
Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, Lita Ford, Deftones, Rob Halford, Steve
Vai, Max Cavalera and heaps more and is one of NZ's staunchest
ambassadors of Kiwi music (no less than 25% per show!).
One of the Rocks original Hard Men, Paul is still based in Hellmantown in the Waikato and
commutes to Auckland Sundays to do the Axe Attack live. His most precious list includes; his family, friends, metal, guitars, beer, rugby and roast turkey.
His dislikes include ... dance/house/gangsta/rap/rave, aggro people and JAFAs!
An avid art collector, Paul is a member of NZ's Heavily Tattooed Club.
He is one of the countries loudest guitar players (Marshall powered of course!)
and has released albums with Knightshade and Blackjack and is currently forming a new aggro metal outfit called World War Four.
He also performs in The Fabulous Farrelli Bros with the rest of the Rock jocks and often pops
up with cover band Head First.
Paul refuses to comment on the rumours that he is involved with the Unholy Church Of the Embittered Beast and has cloven hooves, but does admit to having a long tail and horns occasionally.
